Cheers to 45 Years

Congregation Beth Emeth opened our doors 45 years ago. From those in 1979 to everyone that has joined since, we have made Beth Emeth a cornerstone of Jewish Life in Western Fairfax and Eastern Loudoun Counties.

We are celebrating this milestone and the members that brought us here with several events during the weekend of May 17-19 (details below).

We hope you will join us at one or more of the weekend's events, and consider contributing to the 45th anniversary fundraising campaign introduced several weeks ago, if you haven't already.

Whether Joining Us or Not, Please Sustain CBE for Future Generations

Message from Paul Moskowitz, VP Development

Subject: We can make the $45,000 goal
Dear members of the CBE community,

We are excited to say that we have raised 25% of our goal so far. That may not seem like much, but since only 10% of the congregation has pledged something so far, we are really encouraged. We need to raise the additional monies to cover onsite security improvements (such as better lighting and cameras) and procure our new, larger Sukkah (which costs about $15,000).

The letter you received in the mail last month said that we are working on a five-year plan that will take us to our 50th anniversary in 2029. This plan will encompass a strategy for membership enrichment and financial security. We are looking for people who want to offer input and support. If interested, email developmentvp@bethemeth.org.

Whatever you can give, large or small, your support is crucial for our continued growth and impact. Please join us in making a difference before our 45th Anniversary celebration starting May 17th.  Click here to give on-line, conveniently using the same form as your RSVPs for the 45th Anniversary weekend's events.

Any member family that contributes $540 or more will be honored with complimentary admission to all of the 45th Anniversary events. Additionally, those who contribute $1000 will also receive reserved parking during the High Holidays.

Our gratitude can’t be fully conveyed. You helped us reach 45 years.  You are part of our history and our family.  Thank you for considering helping us towards our 50th.

Live Here, Give Here, You’re Home Here.
