Tisha B'Av

Tisha B'Av commemorates not only the destruction of Jerusalem, but also the many hardships that have afflicted the Jewish people throughout history---from the Crusades, to the expulsion from Spain, to the pogroms, and into our own time.

This year, the Tisha B'Av fast will begin at the end of Shabbat (9:02 PM) on Saturday, August 2 and end at nightfall (9:01 PM) on Sunday, August 3.

Join the Beth Emeth community for a day of mourning, reflection, and the reading of Eicha during our Tisha B'Av services and learning sessions.
