Executive Director Hannah Kraushaar

Hannah Kraushaar became Beth Emeth's Executive Director in May 2024.

Hannah is an enthusiastic program and operations manager and active member of the Northern Virginia Jewish community. After growing up in a small college town outside of Akron, Ohio, Hannah moved to the Washington, DC area to pursue degrees in International Relations and Security at American University and The George Washington University. She spent 11 years working in research, program operations, and project management for the Department of Defense at National Defense University and five years in the private sector managing partnerships and programs with top tier universities seeking to create online degree offerings. 

Hannah has been a volunteer leader in the local Jewish community for a decade, serving on boards and committees at both Congregation Olam Tikvah and Agudas Achim Congregation, as well as being a member of the PTO board and PTO President at Gesher Jewish Day School. She lives in Annandale, Virginia with her husband and two children – both of whom are students at Gesher, and two cats. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys rediscovering her love of figure skating and baking, where she makes sweet treats and complicated challah braids.

Hannah is excited to devote her professional time and efforts to leadership in the Jewish community. She looks forward to getting to know each CBE member and working together to strengthen our community.
