Chairs for Gesher's Outdoor Classes
As the summer flies by, we are thinking about kids going back to school, and the good news is that they are doing so in person! At Gesher Jewish Day School – the only Jewish Day School in Northern Virginia – a new style of learning has evolved to keep children and teachers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic: outdoor classes.
As many children remain unvaccinated going into the fall season, Gesher will continue to hold some classes outdoors this fall. To that end, the Social
Action Committee has elected to sponsor a drive to provide portable, lightweight outdoor chairs equipped with mobile desktops.
To donate, please go to gesher-jds.org/support. Under “Additional Comments” enter “CBE chairs.” Each chair costs approximately $40, but any amount is appreciated.
