An event for members of all ages to celebrate together safely – and what is a Jewish holiday without food? We'll have plenty of donuts available from Krispy Kreme, as dessert after your kosher meal of "a unique take on Israeli street food" from The Shouk! And not one, but TWO opportunities to light the candles with the Beth Emeth community. (Download the blessings if you need them, and here's a short video about how to load & light the Hanukkah Menorah.)

Here's the order of the day:

• 2:30-3:30 PM - Food pickup, Shouk orders & free donuts.
• 3:00 PM - Community menorah-lighting, safely distanced in the parking lot. Streamed on Facebook Live!
• 5:30 PM - Let's Light together on Zoom! Set up your Menorah, point the webcam or phone, and join us from home. Here's the Zoom link.

If you've never heard of The Shouk, check out this video featured on the Food Network: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Ordering is open until 10 AM on the 13th, but note that Shouk often sells out so don't order at the last minute!

1. Go to our special ordering page.
2. Make sure the "Hood Drop" date & time to the right are set to December 13 & 2:30 PM, and enter your order.
3. Pick up your food at the parking lot at 2:30PM (please be on time). Please have your order number ready so that they can quickly locate your order.

Congregation Sha'are Shalom has invited members of Congregation Beth Emeth to join in spreading the light of Hanukkah, and we hope you will participate as we light the menorah at the Courthouse in Leesburg each night of Hanukkah. Pick a night, gather with friends (outdoors, distanced, with masks, of course), and light the lights! We are limited to 10 people per night, so don't wait to sign up!
