2022 High Holidays: Members' Additional Ticket Request

We are looking forward to celebrating the new year with you! Here is some information about tickets for Beth Emeth members, and about acquiring tickets for your guests.

Member Tickets:

  • Tickets for in-person High Holiday services were mailed automatically to all members in good standing on September 13.
    • This year, tickets also serve as nametags, to help us get (re)acquainted and meet new members and guests, and to enhance security.
    • Therefore, tickets have been issued for each eligible adult member of your family and unmarried children up to and including age 26 who are listed in your account on September 1.
    • If you have additional dependents who may attend in-person services, please contact office@bethemeth.org ASAP so we can be sure to issue them tickets.
    • Nametag holders on lanyards will be available upon arrival at your first service of the High Holiday season.
    • Please be sure you and your guests bring your tickets/nametags to every Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur service; we will not have duplicates at the door.

Guest Tickets for In-Person Services

  • Family members or other guests who are members in good standing in another synagogue may receive additional tickets free of charge. To be eligible, a letter from the guest’s congregation confirming membership status must be attached to the Additional Ticket Request Form below at the time it is submitted, or provided as soon as possible thereafter.
  • Members may purchase tickets for adult children or other adult family members with no synagogue affiliation, at a cost of $125 per person per holiday. (Cost for both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is $250.)
  • Members may purchase tickets for non-family members with no synagogue affiliation, at a cost of $250 per person per holiday. (Cost for both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is $500.)
  • Guests' Ticket(s) requested after September 14 will be available at will-call, or you can pick them up in advance at the synagogue during office hours (M-Th 9-5, Fri 9-2:30; please call 703-860-4515x101 so we're sure to have them ready).

We will hold in-person services at full capacity for the High Holiday season (subject to changes in the Covid-19 situation), with a very few distanced seats for those who are particularly vulnerable. We continue to expect that everyone in our spaces who can be vaccinated to be vaccinated (including guests), and masks remain optional throughout the building. CBE reserves the right to require proof of vaccination, and the congregation encourages everyone to upload proof of vaccination. (Uploaded images will stay in a private and secure area within ShulCloud.)

If you cannot join us in person, links to view streaming online will be available to you and your guests at no charge.

Please use the online form below or download the pdf form to request tickets for your guests.

If you have any questions about eligibility or tickets, please contact office@bethemeth.org or (703) 860-4515 ext 101.
