Golf Tournament FAQs (Frequently-Asked Questions)
How will the
golf tournament work?
The golf tournament
will be run as a 'scramble' or captain's choice. We will have a shotgun
start, so that everyone can finish at the same time for dinner and awards.
Is there a dress code?
Players are expected
to wear traditional golf attire on the golf course. Collared shirts are
required. Golf shoes with non-metal spikes or soft soled shoes are required.
What is the cost?
The cost is $150 per
person for entry in the golf tournament. Entry in the golf tournament
provides a box lunch, 18 holes of golf, and awards dinner.
Special packages have been designed for players wishing to join as a group.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made using Visa or MasterCard, check, or invoiced by Beth
Emeth. The invoice option is available only to those individuals that are
currently invoiced by Beth Emeth. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
Who do I pay?
Payments will be made
payable to Congregation Beth Emeth.
Are any provisions being made for taking care of kids?
Babysitting
services are still under evaluation at this time. Please indicate your
interest in the comment section of your form.
What is the deadline for signing up?
In order to guarantee
your place in the tournament, you should submit your reservation by April
21, 2008. Requests made after that date will try to be accommodated.
What is the deadline for payment?
Payment should be made at the time you submit your registration form, except
for those parties that wish to be invoiced (CBE members and BEECC families
only). Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.
Can I join as a single golfer?
Absolutely! We will pair you with others so you can enjoy playing as a
foursome.
What if I don't have a golf handicap?
If you do not have a
handicap, we will assess a handicap based on your experience and usual
score.
Who does this benefit?
Net profits will be
divided between Beth Emeth and BEECC.
Are the meals Kosher?
Dinner is
Kosher and is being catered by Signature caterers.
Can I make a deposit?
Deposits are not
being accepted at this time.
