Audio Files
of Calling Congregants for the First Aliyah
Below
are recordings of how to call the first aliyah for Shabbat and weekday
services. Festival and High Holiday morning services are the same as
Shabbat. Sunday Rosh Chodesh, Saturday Mincha and Yom Kippur Mincha are the
same as weekday services. Various combinations of honorees are covered
whether the honoree is a man, woman or a couple. Some honorees like to be
called with the Father’s name only while others wish to use the Mother’s
name as well. All of these combinations are covered.
