Background
The Education Director
Exploratory Search Committee (EDEC) spent several months in 2008
re-evaluating both the duties and skill-set required of the person to fill
this position before beginning the formal search process. The exploratory
phase included a teacher
 survey
as well as a survey of the entire congregation and many conversations and
meetings; we thank everyone who took part. Details of the exploratory

Search Process
Beginning in early November 2008 we have launched the
actual search for our new Religious School Director. The search will
be conducted by the Religious School Director Search Committee, chaired by Heather Skigen.
Key documents and meeting minutes will be posted on this page, and Beth
Emeth members can send questions about the process to
edsearch@bethemeth.org.
We are excited about the
future of our well-regarded religious school and invite candidates to
