  • www.washingtonjobs.com -- Washington Post site, can have selected postings e-mailed to you -- note you should still look at the Sunday paper, both classified and business section, since all are not on-line.

  • www.monster.com -- Can post resume and have new job postings e-mailed

  • www.hotjobs.com -- Can post resume and have postings e-mailed

  • www.flipdog.com -- Can post resume and have listings e-mailed

  • www.careerbuilder.com -- Can post resume and have listings e-mailed

  • www.directemployers.com -- No headhunters -- a number of large employers have established their own board.  Can post resume and have listings e-mailed.

  • http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/ -- Craig's List has many jobs posted.

  • www.indeed.com -- collects listings from many other sites, but may have some delays. Can save a query and have listings e-mailed.

  • MySkillSource.Org -- Job-search center sponsored by Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board; offers FREE access to: PCs with Internet access and Microsoft Office applications, photocopiers, phones, books.  In Reston at 11484 Washington Plaza West, Suite 130 (phone 703-787-4974); other locations in NoVa in Falls Church, Alexandria, Leesburg, Fairfax, and Woodbridge.  Your job-search corner -- and share ideas with other job-seekers too.

  • www.netpreneur.org  -- Reston-based "incubator"; has many resources, networking events, e-mail job exchange.

  • www.telecomhub.org -- Networking in Telecom. "The one event that I went to was attended by approximately 100 people. The group was diverse, but I don't know how many people were actually members. The events do have a cover fee."

  • www.dcwebwomen.org -- active organization for DC-area women in web-related functions.  Bi-monthly resume posting.  Also see links to many other resources at: www.dcwebwomen.org/resources/links.html

  • In Washington Post "Tech Thursday", see "Face Time" for upcoming breakfasts, seminars, meetings, etc.

  • www.usibex.org --     US-Israel Business Exchange, US-IBEX  Network with Israel businesses active (or wanting to be) in the US, and US businesses with activities in Israel. Note free membership includes posting a résumé, but viewing job listings requires a paid membership.
