An active Parents'
Association is an integral part of our pre-school.

BEECC Family Dance and Silent Auction
Sunday, March 7, 3:30-5:30 PM
An afternoon of fun
for the whole family!
Families will
dance
to wonderful
music and dine on a
light dairy meal. Children will
also be able to have their
faces painted and enjoy an
arts and crafts table.
This year's
silent auction promises to be spectacular featuring items from all of our
children's classes and donations from businesses and restaurants in our
community.
There will also be a
raffle - buy your raffle tickets and then put them in the basket
for the items that you would like a chance to win.
Tickets for the dance are $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the
door. The E-vite invitation will be sent out the first week in February
and checks made payable to BEECC should be sent via Ellie Pinnar's
backpack in Morah Gayle/Morah Paula's class.
Questions? contact Lauren
Pinnar.

A
FREE Taste of Yoga.
Thursday, March 11
7:30 - 9:00 PM
March's teacher Jennifer Zoerkler
will teach a Gentle and Restorative sample class combining
breathing techniques, warm-up stretches to gently wake up muscles and
joints, a couple of playful poses, followed by a sequence of
restorative and relaxing poses, bringing calmness to mind and body.
This class is suitable for any adult regardless of flexibility
level.
Jennifer began studying Iyengar style yoga at the Health Advantage
Yoga Center (HAYC) with Betsy Downing in the early '90's to help
manage migraine headaches. Her practice has been growing since 2005
while studying at The Yoga Connection (TYC) in Manassas. She will
complete her teacher certification through HAYC in February, 2010 and
will focus on yoga as therapy to guide students with special medical
and physical needs. Jennifer currently teaches a Gentle/Restorative
class at TYC. Yoga is a great de-stressor for today's world and a
perfect therapy to calm the mind and the body, for every body!

RELAX with us!
